Erik's Fresh Grill was established in Otay Mesa in 1991 out of a passion for excellent food and service. Fresh Ingredients and made to order meals is the key to our success, so here we are almost three decades later our family and staff proud to serve you what is beautiful to the eye as it is delicious to the palate.
Love their chicken kabob, comes with fries or salad. The atmosphere is mellow, it's a great spot to eat after crossing the border.
The salmon is amazing. The mahi-mahi pita blew my doors off; great mix of flavors, grilled smokiness, and they really "kick it up a notch" with their own spicy sauce (a lime to squeeze over the top would add a "wow" to this).
The lamb pita is always great, as are the burgers.
Seriously, I am so glad Erik's Deli & Grill is near the border. When you work near the border like I do, you don't have a lot of food options and the few options that you DO have, aren't very noteworthy. There are three places I frequent for lunch during my work days... Erik's, Subway, and Wendy's. I know. That just goes to show how very limited my choices are.
